"Like sand through the hourglass so are the day's of our lives." Growing up John always looked forward to watching Nana's stories with her. Needless to say the intros to some of these are stuck in his head, and he whips out quotes from them from time to time, always using a voice of a game show host. So now they are stuck in my head...
The above quote has been playing itself in my head a lot lately. As we are counting down to the planned departure date, it really feels true. It's in my face what a gift each "grain of sand" is, and I don't want to waist them.
Please pray that even in the midst of all the paperwork and packing we are intentional with our relationships here. That we seek one on one time with the kids and each other. That we soak up the phone calls, the impromptu coffee dates, and play dates with all our loved ones here! Let us embrace the laughter and the tears that come with this.
Please pray that God brings our partnership team to completion... the sooner the better... we have until the first week of March to reach 100% of our monthly budget requirement to be able to go in May.
Please pray for the 3-month long Pacific Orientation Course that we will attend in May. They are still searching and trusting the Lord that the right staff will be available at the right time for this new session.
Please pray for continued good health, and for John's back. It has been giving him a lot of trouble lately. Hopefully it's just the mattress :)
Please pray for Millie, that she would desire to go in the potty. She knows how to, but it is her will that needs to be in it.
Thank you for your prayers, we cherish them!!! Please write us back and let us know how we can be praying for you this month too!
Love,
John and Kristi
